Where is Emmerdale’s Alicia Metcalfe now? Inside Natalie Anderson’s life after ITV soap

Although Alicia Metcalfe left EMMERDALE seven years ago, her admirers are still curious about her life outside of the ITV serial opera.

Over the years, many of Emmerdale’s fan favorites have left, including Alicia Metcalfe (played by Natalie Anderson).

She left the fictional ITV village in 2015, and since then, she and her son Jacob have been living in a new place and haven’t looked back. Everything there is to know about the recent activities of actress Anderson is available on Express.co.uk.

Leyla Harding’s (Roxy Shahidi) sister Alicia Metcalfe is the adoptive mother of Jacob Gallagher, Leyla’s biological son.

Alicia was eager to start a family with her husband Justin Gallagher (Andrew Langtree), but she was unable to conceive.

Even though Leyla wanted to have the pregnancy terminated, Alicia persuaded her not to after she accidentally became pregnant during a one-night affair with Justin.

Instead, the infant—whom they eventually called Jacob—was adopted by Alicia and Justin.

Without disclosing to the youngster the facts about his biological mother, they raised him.

After her relationship with Justin didn’t work out, Alicia left Emmerdale in 2015.

She moved to Portugal, where she still stays now, with Jacob to begin a new life.

Alicia is occasionally mentioned while her family members visit her off-screen.

The Alicia Metcalfe star of Emmerdale is currently where?

Actress Natalie Anderson took a hiatus from acting after leaving Emmerdale.

In contrast, she began her own online health and lifestyle publication, The Capsule, complete with a podcast, in 2016.

According to her website, Anderson’s purpose is to: “establish The Capsule as a place that does the hard work for them after years of my friends having little time to spend on finding items that make them feel and look better.

The Capsule is the ideal location to pause, take some time for yourself, and find some inspiration thanks to our carefully curated collections in fashion, beauty, travel, and food as well as professional guidance on wellbeing and lifestyle.

However, Anderson opted to reenter the entertainment world only last year.

This time, she became Lexi Calder and joined the Hollyoaks cast on Channel 4.

She even made her acting debut this year, playing Maryanne Borden opposite Liam Neeson in the movie Memory.

Recently, Anderson stated that she wouldn’t be opposed to returning to Emmerdale.

At the Pride of Manchester Awards, the 40-year-old actress spoke candidly about the serial opera.

“Well, to be honest, I’m really enjoying what I’m doing on Hollyoaks right now,” Anderson stated.

“Never say never, of course; I adore Emmerdale to the fullest extent! However, I’m just loving Hollyoaks right now.
