Tipping Point: Emmerdale Lucy Pargeter’s unknown popstar past and co-star flatmate

On tonight’s Tipping Point Lucky Stars episode, Lucy Pargeter will compete.
On a special episode of the well-liked ITV game show, Sara Pascoe and Joe Marler will join the 45-year-old.
As the celebs compete to win large money for their preferred charities from the arcade-style machine, Ben Shephard will serve as host.
For her role as Chas Dingle in Emmerdale, Lucy is well-known. The soap star began appearing on the ITV program in 2002 and is still a significant character.
Since learning that her mother has cancer, Chas has been going through a difficult period in the Yorkshire Dales.
She found solace in Al Chapman, and ever since the two of them kissed, she has been struggling with guilt.
Lucy is best known for her acting career, but she also had success as a member of the girl group Paperdolls and came close to becoming a pop phenomenon.
The group performed as Boyzone’s opening act in 1998 and recorded the track Gonna Make You Blush.
When talking to Inside Soap, Lucy expressed how much she loved being a member of the girl group. “Three girls in their 20s on the road having the nicest time,” she remarked.
There was laughter. We went from believing we were simply a group of females getting together and singing a few songs to traveling and being signed by a record label. It was wonderful.
When Lucy joined Emmerdale at the age of 24, she quickly grew close to her co-star Amy Nuttall, who portrayed Chloe Atkinson on the program.
She talked lovingly of how they used to frequently go out with Sammy Winward, another Emmerdale cast member.
We lived in a small cottage in Leeds, and the front door was always left open while we waited for a taxi, she recalled.
Only wine and crumpets were in the refrigerator, and the entire space reeked of false tan.
“After leaving the office, we’d head home, get a taxi, get dressed, and arrive in town 30 minutes later. It’s a new world now.
I now go home at the end of the day, feed the kids, practice my lines, and then I go to bed.
Outside of the entertainment industry, Lucy and Rudi Coleano are parents to three kids. After 12 years together, the two decided to call it quits in 2019.
“Lucy Pargeter has revealed she has separated from her longtime partner, Rudi Coleano,” read a statement issued at the time. “While they are no longer together, their major goal is raising their three kids.”
