The Moon brothers have returned! In a way.
Tony Discipline and Matt Lapinskas, who left EastEnders nine years ago, have reunited for a new project.
Tony and Matt debuted as Tyler and Anthony Moon in 2011, marking the beginning of a new era for the Moon family. At the same time, their on-screen father Eddie Moon, played by David Essex, arrived in Albert Square.
Tyler and Anthony didn’t last long at Walford, with Matt Lapinskas departing as Anthony just over a year later. In 2013, Tony Discipline was last spotted on the square.

Shane Richie, aka the one and only Alfie Moon, has hinted at a return for his character.
Shane said he’d love to “spoil” Kat Slater and Phil Mitchell’s blooming romance by revealing that Alfie is still on the run in Spain and running a bar on the Costa del Sol.
“I believe [Alfie] still owes Phil money. I’m sure Kat and Phil are having a bad time. They’re forming an alliance, “Earlier this year, he stated. “So, who knows, maybe Alfie will show up and ruin their little get-together. But you didn’t hear that from me!”
EastEnders airs on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday on BBC One.
