The casts of Emmerdale and Coronation Street have banded together to promote a former co-new star’s business endeavor.

“This is just the start.”

Cast members from Coronation Street and Emmerdale came together earlier this week to support Adam Thomas, a former soap star.

The former Emmerdale actor, who played Adam Barton, has opened his new pop-up restaurant, The Spinn, at MediaCityUK in Manchester’s Box on the Docks.

Adam posted a photo of himself with former co-stars Kelvin Fletcher (Andy Sugden) and Danny Miller (Aaron Dingle) on Instagram, along with a thoughtful remark.

“It’s Friday, so smile!!! What a [fantastic] day for @thespinn’s debut! Thank you to these lovely ladies, as well as the many more who showed up! This is only the start, “reads the caption.

Emmerdale’s Isabel Hodgins (Victoria Sugden) and Danny’s fiancée Steph Jones were among the others that joined Adam, Kelvin, and Danny.

“So pleased to see these faces. A beautiful night supporting @adamthomas21 @thespinn_ and @boxonthedocks,” Isabel wrote on social media about the reunion.

A number of Coronation Street stars, including Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs), Ruxandra Porojnicu (Alina Pop), Maureen Lipman (Evelyn Plummer), Ellie Leach (Faye Windass), Lucy Fallon (Bethany Platt), and Alexandra Mardell, gathered to show their support for Adam (Emma Brooker).

“Summer nights and empty drinks,” Alan captioned a shot of him dining with current on-screen girlfriend Ruxandra and his soap grandmother Maureen.

Chelsea Healey (Janeece Bryant), Adam’s former Waterloo Road co-star, currently plays Goldie McQueen on Hollyoaks, was also supportive.

“It’s a vibrant town with the BBC and ITV here,” Adam previously told MEN, “and while I’m frying burgers I can even see Coronation Street just across the way, so I’ll give them a little wave.”

“It’d be good to meet some known faces down here now and again, but it’s simply nice to see the hustle and bustle down here,” she says.

ITV broadcasts Emmerdale and Coronation Street.
