Visitors must pass through multiple levels of security to enter the region, but once they do, there is a stop-off immediately before you get to Emmerdale village.

A completely constructed activity center that has been featured in several sequences from the show for the past three years is located on the outskirts of the settlement, hidden among the tall forests.

After a fire in the Emmerdale soap left the candy factory in ruins, Kim Tate, Jai Sharma, and Al Chapman created the fictional Hawksford Outdoor Pursuits (Hop) in 2019.

In 2020, Hop had its grand opening, but it was marred by the tragic murder of Graham Foster there.
