Shock Emmerdale exit leaves fan favourite character devastated

A resident of the Dales decides to leave the titular village after growing disenchanted with life there.

However, the handsome character injures another well-known character in Emmerdale in the process.

Over the years, Kim Tate has hired a lot of people at Home Farm, but none of them have quite had the same impact as male nanny Nicky.

Lewis Cope’s portrayal of the part drew Gabby Thomas’ attention after he was given the job of caring for every youngster at Home Farm.

Even though Gabby (played by Rosie Bentham) made it plain that she was interested in him, Nicky kept her at a distance out of respect for his job as a professional.

The young mother loses her cool and grows irate as her attempts toward Nicky continue to be rejected in scenes scheduled to air on ITV the following week.

By asking Nicky to zip up her dress, Gabby tries to create a spark with him but can’t let things go.

She is happy to be making progress because she knows he has his sights on her, but she soon realizes that the fact that she is his boss prevents him from starting a relationship with her.

As a result, Gabby comes up with a plan and temporarily fires Nicky so they may enjoy themselves.

Unfortunately, Gabby’s preparations fail, and Nicky is not impressed.

He makes the decision to give up completely, leaving her helpless.

Will he actually go, though?

Since Nicky initially rocked up the Dales in late 2022, viewers of the drama with a Yorkshire setting have been sure that he was too good to be true.

As time has passed, observers think they may possibly have discovered what he might be concealing.

As Caleb Milligan became involved in Kim Tate’s new stud farm, Nicky was charged with conspiring with the fellow newbie.

Some fans, who have grown accustomed to a turbulent existence in soap world, speculate that Nicky and Caleb may be seeking revenge for DI Malone’s murder by Dawn Taylor in 2020.

Has Nicky disclosed all of his information?

Gabby, can you keep him from leaving?
