Pakistan-Iran attacks updates: 9 killed near Iran’s southeast border

Less than 48 hours had passed since Iranian airstrikes in Pakistan on Tuesday when the incident occurred.
According to Iranian official media, the incident has claimed the lives of at least nine people.
In order to “offer explanations” for the attacks, the Iranian Foreign Ministry has called Pakistan’s charge d’affaires in Tehran, which is the highest diplomatic post in the absence of an ambassador.
The interim prime minister of Pakistan canceled his trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos and is scheduled to return home later today.
