‘No room for complacency’ Emmerdale’s Zoe Henry shares fears of being axed from soap

In 2001, Zoe Henry made her Emmerdale debut as the veterinarian Rhona Goskirk.

The actress quit the village drama the next year, then returned with a bang in 2010, where she has stayed ever since.

The actress has stated that there is “no room for complacency” in her industry, even though Rhona is still at the center of several important tales.

The upcoming episode of Emmerdale, which will feature Rhona and her on-screen spouse Marlon Dingle (played by Mark Charnock), will feature their wedding.

The pair will exchange vows in St. Mary’s Church in front of their loved ones after falling in and out of love with one another over the past 20 years.

Marlon, who had a stroke in March, has been putting in a lot of effort with his physical therapist in an effort to be strong enough to escort Rhona down the aisle.

The ability to walk to the altar to exchange vows with his future wife is something viewers will have to wait to see.

Prior to the soap opera’s “sensational” 50th anniversary in October, they have a big day.

Actress Zoe from Rhona was asked whether she would like to take part in the 60th anniversary celebrations while speaking to Express.co.uk and other journalists at an anniversary event.

The 48-year-old celebrity, however, asserted that “there is no tolerance for complacency in this profession or any career in fact nowadays.

“However, I don’t believe anyone feels as though they are in it for the long haul, and much of our work is done under contracts that are renewed annually.

“Having been here for so long, though, does feel pleasant.”

She thought back on the wedding special and expressed her joy at being surrounded by so many cast and crew members.

Since we hadn’t worked together in a while, she said, “I believe this episode had the most cast and staff on set that we had in two years.”

We hadn’t seen many of our fellow performers and crew members in a while, and everyone was stunning.

Leo Goskirk (Harvey Rogerson), the child of Rhona and Marlon, is what, according to Zoe, has kept the two together for the past 11 years.

She believed that history appeals to the audience because it “gives their relationship a weight” that they enjoy seeing on the screen.

When Rhona initially arrived in the community and went on a date in The Woolpack, Marlon and she immediately became romantically involved.

However, when Marlon’s ex entered the picture, things became chilly, and Rhona departed the serial opera for over ten years before becoming pregnant with Leo in 2010.

Since Leo was born, the characters have both had unsuccessful marriages, but last year they were able to get back together.

While Zoe claimed she didn’t want to become a Dingle, Rhona seems to be really in love with Marlon.

She said, “I don’t mind a little bit of Dingle stuff, but not too much. [Rhona] has never altered her surname.
