Lucy Fallon, a former Coronation Street actress, has reunited with her old co-stars amid reports that she will return to the show.

The Bethany Platt actress left the show three years ago to pursue other opportunities.

She will apparently make a reappearance towards the end of the year. But now, with a heartwarming Platt family reunion, she’s provided the greatest hint yet that it’s true.

She posed with Tina O’Brien, Jack P Shepherd, Julia Goulding, and Paddy Bever during Tina O’Brien’s birthday celebration. She titled the Platt photo “Besties.”

According to The Sun, Lucy has agreed to return to her job. She will begin filming later this year, according to the tabloid.

Her return scenes are expected to appear “after Christmas.” Bethany was last seen in 2020, after overcoming her struggle with grooming and assault.

Viewers watched as nasty Nathan and his grooming group manipulated her. In the hard-hitting plot that earned a slew of accolades, she narrowly avoided being trafficked abroad.

The story earned Lucy the award for Best Female Dramatic Performance at the 2018 British Soap Awards. Bethany, on the other hand, went on to become a stripper after her tragedy.

A few weeks ago, her bosses approached her about the prospect of returning.

She later fell in love with a bereaved Daniel Osbourne following the death of his wife Sinead Tinker.

Bethany decided to relocate to London to pursue a career as a journalist after a backlash.

She will apparently go back to Weatherfield now, though. According to a source who spoke to The Sun, Lucy is one of the most accomplished actresses in soap operas and has garnered numerous accolades for her potent portrayal of Bethany’s grooming plot. Everyone was sorry to see her depart since she was destined for great things, but the door would always remain open for someone of her caliber and notoriety.

Bosses contacted her a few weeks ago with the prospect of returning and informed her of all their plans for Bethany if she agreed. Because she is a new mother with a baby, she talked about it with her partner and family.

“After they discussed childcare and how to best juggle it all, she was able to say she’d love to return.” Everyone is ecstatic. They were desperate to reclaim her.”
