Favorite character from Coronation Street Katie McGlynn shined as she left the house to spend a special birthday with her loved ones.
As she celebrated turning 29, the Rochdale actress was showered with accolades.
Katie, who participated in Strictly Come Dancing last year and was paired with professional dancer Gorka Marquez, looked gorgeous in lilac coordinated clothing.
She arrived at The Black Friar bar in Salford wearing matching smart shorts and a jacket, along with a white blouse and heels.
The actress, who gained popularity for her role as machinist Sinead Osbourne in Corrie, was accompanied by her former co-stars Lisa George, who plays Sinead’s aunt Beth Sutherland, Alexandra Mardell, who portrayed Emma Brooker until April, and Rob Mallard, who portrays Sinead’s bereaved husband Daniel.
As she posed for pictures with her Weatherfield friends and her best buddy Lee Bennett, she grinned from ear to ear.
On her Instagram, Katie, who portrayed Sinead from 2013 to 2019, posted pictures from her big night and clapped: “Here we go, the last year of my 20s! I spent a lovely evening with my loved ones at the Black Friars in Salford. #birthdaygirl #29andfeelingfine #hbd.”
Gorka was in charge of the greetings, sending the following message: “DEAR PARTNER, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! a happy kokki day.
” Alexandra cried out: “Great job, girl! McGlynn, HBD.” Happy birthday, gorgeous! Elle Mulvaney, who portrays Amy Barlow on the soap opera, wished her. Nikki Sanderson, a star of Hollyoaks, also wished the boy a happy birthday.
With her summer Strictly Fitness workouts, Katie has been putting BBC’s Morning Live viewers through their paces. Katie showed off her toned physique in her stylish outfit.
She also displayed her brand-new long, blonde bob hairdo. She was informed by katiesgalaxyxox, “You look absolutely stunning.”
Happy birthday! Those colors look wonderful on you, said admirjakupovic92. Using flame emojis, kirstye Martin Mua stated: “Unrealll babe,” exclaimed television and radio host Katie Thistleton, adding: “Happy birthday, gorgeous girl! Xxxxx”
As the troublemaker Becky Quentin in the Channel Four soap Hollyoaks, Katie recently debuted a shorter haircut while switching back to her natural blonde hair color.
At the The Railway Children Return movie premiere earlier this month at Keighley Picture House Cinema, she looked stylish with her new hairstyle.
In Corrie, Katie played Sinead until the much-loved character tragically died after battling cervical cancer soon after getting married and having a son with Daniel.
In the BBC One Rochdale school drama Waterloo Road, which is making a comeback on television and stars her former co-star Kym Marsh, she previously portrayed the student Scout Allen.
Becky Quentin, over and out! Becky Quentin posted on Instagram to celebrate her departure from Hollyoaks in March after portraying conspiracy theorist Becky. @HollyoaksOfficial.
“Playing Becky and digging my teeth into something so unusual and dirty has been an amazing treat!”
Being able to represent someone that so closely resembles incredibly current global issues, such as conspiracy theories, anti-vaxxers, the coronavirus, and sinophobia, as an actor… I sincerely hope the plot has brought up some significant issues and shown how simple it is for someone to get pulled into this world of fake news and conspiracies!
“Thank you to the entire cast and crew for being so incredibly wonderful and greeting me with open arms,” she continued. Although I will miss you all, new and exciting opportunities call.
