ITV Emmerdale’s Charley Webb has her say on Love Island as she backs Gemma Owen

Charley Webb, a former Emmerdale cast member, has publicly supported Gemma Owen, a Love Island contestant.

The actress, who played Debbie Dingle in the ITV soap opera, has shown she is a regular person by checking in to the ITV2 dating program, which is just days away from its final season for another year.

While watching the most recent episode, which aired on Tuesday night, she posted on her Instagram Story (July 26).

At the conclusion of the episode, it was revealed that Adam and Paige, Dami and Indiyah, and Danica and Jamie had received the least amount of support from viewers and were therefore at risk of being eliminated.

But since the revelation was left on a cliffhanger, it will be revealed during Wednesday’s episode who will be kicked out of the villa. The islanders participated in a challenge with a “Mile High” theme during the episode as well.

The girls, who were dressed as cabin crew, got the boys ready for takeoff by providing them with a thorough safety briefing and refreshments before they joined their chosen passenger for a discreet “Mile High Club” rendezvous.

However, the challenge’s flirty antics led to some conflict between Gemma Owen and Luca Bish.

During the challenge, as Gemm, 19, began to lick the other lads’ necks, Luca, 23, appeared annoyed that she was getting so near to them.

Following the incident, Gemma spoke to the girls about it and said that she had reacted in the “thrill of the moment” and that she did not want to hear him moan about it.

When they eventually confronted one another, Luca said that he had not liked witnessing her flirt with the other male islanders, but added that it had been difficult for him to “remain annoyed” with her.

Gemma’s retort that he had earlier stated he “wasn’t in a mood” infuriated Luca even more, and he removed his microphone and left the villa as a result.

Later, on the patio, the couple discussed the incident again, but their disagreements over whether the behavior was appropriate because it was a challenge persisted.

When Luca said, “I don’t want to be in a relationship where we’re having these ridiculous discussions,” and Gemma retorted, “Neither do I,” the situation became tense.

After that, he inquired if she still desired a relationship with him. She replied that she did, but as she walked away, it was clear that nothing had changed.

Charley uploaded a picture of her TV screen that showed Gemma, the former footballer Michael Owen’s daughter, in the Mallorcan villa. It’s hard for me to believe I’m saying this, but we need to have a Love Island discussion.

The soap actor said, referring to the dressage rider and owner of a bikini shop: “She’s far too cool and mature for this s**t.

I adore Gemma in every way.” Then she added a poll with the question, “Is Luca too much?” and two options, “100%” or “Nah.” She hasn’t yet revealed what her fans thought of the situation.

But it seems that she wasn’t the only one, as other Love Island viewers have expressed their displeasure with what happened between Gemma and fishmonger Luca.

“Very sad Gemma has squandered her entire love island experience on Luca,” wrote @Dawn15855398 in a tweet. Written by bittersweetem “WHO IS VOTING FOR GEMMA AND LUCA ON THIS PLANET? THIS MANS JOKER MOMENTS #LoveIsland IS ENOUGH FOR ME.”
