Amelia Flanagan may be accustomed to Emmerdale village, but she traded the Dales for the cobblestones of Coronation Street over the weekend.
The teen is most known for her role as April Windsor in the ITV serial opera.
After her on-screen father Marlon Dingle, portrayed by Mark Charnock, suffered a stroke and was discovered prostrate on the floor of their home by the schoolgirl, the actress has been at the forefront of more dramatic sequences.
While she wasn’t making a soap shift, Amelia was heading to Corrie’s Salford set to express her support for her younger siblings.
Isabella and William Flanagan, 11-year-old twins, are most known for their roles as Hope Stape and Joseph Brown in the long-running soap.
Corrie audiences saw a resemblance between William and his Emmerdale star sister when he made his return to screens as Joseph earlier this year, where his character encountered family troubles.
Jude Riordan, who plays Sam Blakeman in the ITV soap, took to Instagram to post a photo of himself with the soap star siblings.
As they posed outside the famed Rovers Return, the foursome appeared relaxed and unrecognizable from their on-screen personalities.
Jude captioned the photo, “Great day at the Corrie Cast & Crew fun day.” He graciously added, “Good catching up with Team Flanagan.”
Fans quickly flooded the post with positive feedback, particularly for the young actors.
“Absolutely love this Jude great photo of you all and amazing skilled young actors you all are,” @anne connors1101 commented.
“That’s fantastic that you got to spend the day with the crew and cast! It’s great that you got to see William and Isabella, as well as Amelia from Emmerdale “@lydiaalty made a remark.
@haleybee39 commented: “”Love these young performers!!” said @brownlorna964 in response to the photo.
“I’m glad you had a good time,” @smurf9130 said, adding, “So sweet.” Fantastic image.”
Amelia, 14, debuted on Emmerdale in 2014 and quickly became a fan favorite, earning three Inside Soap Awards and The British Soap Awards in the same year.
In 2017, Isabella and her twin brother William joined Corrie as Fiz Stape’s daughter Hope.
Jude was accompanied by his older brother, Zach, and his parents during the soap’s fun day.
He uploaded a photo of the couple peeping out from behind a wall in one of the street’s back alleyways, as well as another of the family soaking up the sun on the cobblestones.
Last month, the young actor, who also appears opposite Michelle Keegan in Sky comedy Brassic, shocked fans by revealing Zach had joined him for certain scenes on the serial.
Sam was competing in a chess tournament in the Bistro when he ran across Oscar.
Jude turned to social media after the scenes aired to express his joy at having his brother star alongside him.
