ITV Emmerdale viewers gobsmacked as they discover Rodney Blackstock star’s real age

Fans of Emmerdale were shocked to learn Patrick Mower’s actual age.

The performer is well known for playing Rodney Blackstock in Emmerdale. Since his initial appearance in the soap opera in 2000, the soap star has become a fixture in the Yorkshire Dales.

After being revealed to be Bernice Blackstock’s estranged father, the character has gone through some difficult times on the ITV program. He tried to restart his romance with Diane Sugden, but his love life has been a rollercoaster.

As a barista at Cafe Main Street, the character now plays a more stable part in the soap opera. Sarah Sugden and Faith Dingle both made an appearance in the cafe in tonight’s episode.

After learning that she has terminal cancer, the main character has made the decision to live life to the fullest before passing away. She informed Rodney that as part of her vow, she intended to purchase every cake in the store.

Patrick Mower’s ageless appearance caused viewers who were watching the scene on Twitter to become distracted. Patrick Mower is 83 years old.

“Patrick Mower (Rodney) is 83,” Chris stated.

“Goodness,” Sonia said in response.
