ITV Coronation Street’s Samia Longchambon leaves fans in awe with flexible snaps alongside husband

Samia Longchambon, a star of Coronation Street, won over fans by competing against her husband in a headstand contest. Fans of the actress will be aware that she enjoys a little yoga. The actress portrays Maria Windass in the ITV serial opera.

She demonstrated her abilities in a series of photos she uploaded on Instagram, so it looks that the time and effort she put into the exercise were worthwhile. The Eccles-born soap actor, who has been a part of Corrie for 22 years, was spotted practicing yoga amid a field of greenery decorated with yellow flowers.

Samia moved into position, displaying a split-leg headstand while wearing a pair of black gym shorts and a grey T-shirt.

Another photo showed the 40-year-old performing a normal headstand while extending her long legs straight above.

She met her husband Sylvain Longchambon while dancing in ITV’s Dancing On Ice, and he joined in the fun by imitating her motions while topless in the sunshine and sporting a pair of gray sports shorts.

Samia captioned the series of photos “His n Hers headstands” before tagging Sylvain and adding the hashtags “yoga,” “sunday stretch,” and “namaste.”

Samia’s message was addressed by Joel Adams, one of the minds behind Manchester’s Mana restaurant:

When told that Syl needed to step up his game, the Eccles, England, native said, “For once I beat #goldenballs?,” with an emoji of a smiling sobbing face.

But the audience was amazed by their moves. Brilliant, I’d love to be able to do that, commented @annhughes4396. It was written by @michellewardingley: “Amazing @samia longchambon.” Shared by @tillymint1966: “Bl**dy amazing.” Comment from @versace.the.afghanhound “Since when? Well done, you guys!”

“Well impressive,” @danny731___ responded, using emoticons for applause. It’s a 10 from me, Sam, wrote @glamourinthecountry. Absolutely love it, said @mariebrunton23 in response. Additionally, @duncanoconnor7 said, “You two have some core strength.”

When Samia turned 40 last month, she revealed that she had originally intended to have a sizable party but abandoned the idea when her hostility flared up.

Samia has previously been honest about her battles with anxiety. She admitted on Loose Women last year that she had been misdiagnosed with asthma as a child when she was truly dealing with debilitating anxiety.

When she announced last year that she had earned a diploma in cognitive behavioral therapy, cheers erupted (CBT). But as her milestone birthday drew near, Samis finally took control of her mental health and prioritized her happiness.

She told OK! during a major birthday photoshoot with hubby Sylvain, “I know with the profession I do this sounds like I’m contradicting myself but I loathe being the center of attention and I feel too scared to organize a party.”

However, Samia’s age was what her fans were most interested in because of her youthful appearance. The yoga enthusiast also attributes her young appearance to her father Joseph’s Lebanese ancestry.

She said to OK!, “My dad passed away at age 65; he didn’t actually have wrinkles.” “I take pride in my looks and am fortunate to be wrinkle-free, but I can tell I seem older in the mornings since it takes longer for my face to awaken. In order to prevent the grays, I also need to have my roots done every month.”
