ITV Coronation Street’s Ryan Thomas mocks EastEnders icon as he films them sleeping

Ryan Thomas, a former Coronation Street star, couldn’t help but share a video of an EastEnders legend sleeping in his car.

Ryan, who portrayed Jason Grimshaw in the ITV soap opera, wrote on Instagram that Dean Gaffney, who played Robbie Jackson in EastEnders, asked him for a ride as he was on his way to London.

Ryan, 38, was promised by Dean, 44, that he would “keep him company” during the trip, according to him. However, the other soap opera actor fell asleep, leaving Ryan alone.

Dean could be seen sleeping with his lips wide in a video that Ryan posted on Instagram. While they were parked, Ryan could be seen whistling angrily at his side in the video.

“Can I have a lift back to London? ” he asks, adding, “I’ll keep you company,” in the caption of the video. Scott, Ryan’s brother, commented, “Genius,” while exchanging smiley faces.

From 1993 until 2003 and again from 2017 to 2019, Dean portrayed Robbie in EastEnders. He additionally made cameos in 2004, 2010, and 2015. He participated in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2006 and came in fifth.

At the young age of 43, he joyously announced in July of last year that one of his twin daughters, Chloe, 24, had given birth to a girl named Mimi. I don’t appear old enough to be a father, much less a grandfather, he declared.

“I am very thrilled to say I am a GRANDAD,” Dean wrote. To say that I’m proud of my baby for becoming a mother is beyond words. You two, Chloe and Declan, are going to make wonderful parents. X 7 pounds 14 ounces, baby Mimi, was born on July 7, 2021.
