ITV Coronation Street’s Millie Gibson says she ‘wants hug’ from co-star as she’s ‘suffering’
Millie Gibson, a cast member of Coronation Street, pleaded for sympathy from her co-star as she revealed how she was “suffering” from illness. The actress, who portrays Kelly Neelan in the ITV serial, revealed her health issues following Tanisha Gorey’s Instagram post of a picture of the two of them.
The fan-favorite soap actor, who plays Corrie’s Asha Alaha, posted a sweet selfie of herself and her travel companion in a car on a recent trip to London. When Millie made an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine last week, Tanisha accompanied her as support. In an interview with host Lorraine Kelly, Millie discussed her ongoing plot.
But she also raved about Tanisha, her soap opera “bestie.” 18-year-old Millie stated, “I love my Tanisha, and she’s here today,” while Lorraine added, Before leaving for Manchester to work on the Salford-based soap, Lorraine asked them what they had planned for the rest of their day in London.
“Lorraine said, “I think it’s amazing that you two are such good friends. I know, she’s great. We adore one another dearly.” Added her: “It’s wonderful to meet someone on set with whom you click. Despite the fact that we don’t frequently appear in scenes together, we do.”
And there is a lot of mutual love. Tanisha posted a picture of the two on Instagram along with the caption, “My baby always,” before tagging Millie and adding two hearts. In the rear of a car, Millie could be seen pouting at the camera while sitting next to her buddy, who was grinning for the camera while wearing a halterneck white dress.
Millie added when she reposted the article to her own thousands of followers: “Doh. I’m currently dealing with tonsillitis, and all I want is a hug from Tanisha.”
On each of their respective Instagram sites, Millie and Tanisha are frequently pictured together.
Millie kissed Tanisha’s cheek in one of the co-stars’ more recent Instagram images with the caption “The Mrs,” and Tanisha posted a selfie from the same day with the message “my little darling” on her account.
Tanisha, who has played the daughter of Dev Alahan on Corrie since 2009, posted a photo of the couple cuddling up at the party along with other pictures from the night after the show’s belated Christmas/Summer party earlier this year. “Crimbo party only 4 months late:)),” she wrote as the album’s caption.
That’s the love of my life?!,” Millie wrote in the comments section. Tanisha quickly replied, “Always my baby,” demonstrating their unshakable relationship.
