ITV Coronation Street star ‘homeless’ as co-star moves out

Colson Smith of ITV’s Coronation Street has jokingly said that since Ben Price moved into an apartment, he is now “homeless.” Colson, who plays Craig Tinker, has been residing with Ben, who portrays Nick Tilsey, since 2019.

“It’s emotional for me, it’s the end of an era,” Colson remarked on their Sofa Cinema Club podcast. After three years and seven months of living together, Ben and I have decided to part ways. The nightmare is done.

“I spent a year living with you, Jack [P. Shepherd], and then three and a half years with Ben. You and I have been my university, in a sense.

“Ben has moved into his new posh flat, while I’m still homeless while waiting to be settled in my bachelor pad.

Owning my own home is like crossing off a box. “I think it’s time,” Ben said.

“I did everything I could. It’s time for you to have your own gaff now that I’ve guided you through those years. “You don’t want the old duffer in the back bedroom, ‘Be quiet, he might be awake,'” the 50-year-old celebrity continued.

Ben chuckled about their decision to move in together: “It was like, ‘The lease is up, you’re having him.'” ITV1 still carries ITV Corrie.
