ITV Coronation Street star announces name change after marrying co-star

After being married to her co-star, Sally Carman changed her name. The actor who plays Tim, Joe Duttine, and the actress Abi Franklin got married earlier this month.

On social media, the actress is now known as Sally Carman-Duttine. The soap opera star said on Friday (July 15) that she and Tim actor said “I Do” two years after becoming engaged.

It follows the couple’s relationship’s beginning in the summer of 2018 and their subsequent move into a new home at the end of 2019. The groom wore a light blue suit with a white shirt and a grey flat cap, while the bride looked gorgeous in a floor-length, lacy blue gown.

Before leaving for Italy, Sally captioned the beautiful picture, “We did.” Over the weekend, Sally, 41, posted the first photo from their honeymoon. It showed the couple eating outside with some friends and she said, “Italy, the gift that keeps on giving.”

Sally captioned a different picture with “Pre opera supper with my husband!” and the hashtags “#husbandbehindthecamera” and “#goodhusband.” Congratulations to both, said Daisy Midgeley’s actress Charlotte Jordan.

Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria Connor, said, “OMG look at you two! Congratulations, you lovely people. Actress Harriet Bibby of Summer Spellman offered her congratulations.
