ITV Coronation Street fans think they’ve spotted Kevin’s ‘long-lost brother’ in soap

Coronation Street viewers believe they have found Kevin Webster’s “long lost brother” in the most recent episode.

On Friday, July 29, viewers returned to Weatherfield, where the mechanic was nervously awaiting word on whether he had been charged after breaking Stephen Reid’s car.

Corrie viewers were shocked to see Kevin lose it earlier this week. The role, which is played by Michael Le Vell in the ITV soap opera, has come under a lot of criticism lately as wife Abi and kid Alfie have made a homecoming.

He also had to deal with his son Jack, who was ridiculed at school and felt abandoned by his father.

Kevin was devastated to realize that Jack was the target of bullying after it was discovered that Tyrone had mistakenly believed he was Jack’s father.

Kevin’s mood didn’t improve on Wednesday night’s episode of Corrie as he hurried to get the house ready for a social worker’s visit before Abi could come back with Alfie.

Jack, though, admitted to his father that he doesn’t anticipate Abi returning because Kevin already pays him little care.

Stephen was unhappy when Kevin later allowed new employee Aaron to work on his car at the garage because it broke down just seconds after leaving.

The moment Stephen insulted Kevin, the shop owner lost it and lost his cool, pulling up a wrench and wrecking Stephen’s automobile.

After being taken into custody, Kevin was advised that he might still face criminal damage charges as he expressed regret and agreed to speak to Stephen and fix his car at the police station.

Fortunately for Kevin, he learned on Friday’s walk to the cobbles that Stephen decided against filing a complaint.

When the police visited Kevin at home to deliver the good news, Kev quickly ushered the officers out of the way in case Abi saw.

However, one of the policeman drew the attention of the audience, and soon, they were flooding social media with comments.

Is that Kevin’s stunt double playing a cop in #Corrie?, tweeted @elliottsma. “That copper looks like Kevin’s long-lost brother #Corrie,” tweeted @tommufc9524. Lil Miss Mystic left a comment: “Does anyone else notice a resemblance between Kevin and the Copper making the arrest? Their different accents and hairlines are the only things separating them, according to #Corrie.”

During Kevin’s earlier outburst, @mikepriestley13 tweeted: “Kevin’s hidden copper brother turned up to arrest him #Corrie @itvcorrie.” But when a spectator asked the Twitter user, “Oooh, is that Carl Webster?,” the response was unexpected: “Didn’t know Kevin had a sibling I was just joking because he looks so like Kevin.”
