Is EastEnders’ Ranveer dead as terrified Suki Panesar lashes out?

In tonight’s episode of EastEnders (9th August), Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) had the option of killing her evil family friend Ranveer Gulati (Anil Goutam) after a harrowing confrontation.

Suki felt alone and miserable as the week started because her older children recently disowned her after learning that she had her son Jags purposefully imprisoned and then killed him in his cell. Additionally, she was unable to lease the Minute Mart for a better price and ran out of money.

Suki’s scheme to extort money from Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) was quickly thwarted when Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) confronted her for abandoning his son Ben (Max Bowden) for dead the previous week.

Suki did, however, have one chance at survival in the form of a promising business arrangement with Ranveer; however, Ranveer demanded sex in exchange for his signature on the contract. Ranveer recently got married to Nina Gupta (Hersha Verity), a new doctor in town, but he still desired Suki and wasn’t willing to accept no for an answer.

Suki granted his requests and welcomed him over. Suki pretended to be interested in sleeping with Ranveer while dressed up, but afterwards questioned his offer and admitted that she was rebuffing his effort at blackmail. Yes, Suki was recording their chat to gain leverage, and she pushed Ranveer to sign the contract or risk being revealed for who he really is.

She got her way, but Ranveer quickly became even nastier as he persisted in trying to convince Suki to do what he wanted. He pursued her as she became more and more terrified and left a voicemail for his son Kheerat (Jaz Deol) asking for assistance. However, it appeared as Ranveer overcame her that he was about to abuse Suki sexually.

As his son Ravi (Aaron Thiara) was searching for him, Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) informed him that she had seen him walk to Suki’s apartment, which prompted him to go there.

She discovered a nearby clock and whacked Ranveer over the head with it just as Suki was whimpering in fear and being forced to the ground by Ranveer. He was knocked out right away.

Suki is a murderer now that Ranveer is dead, right? Or, despite what caused his injuries, will he survive and get her arrested? And what precisely will Ravi interrupt? To discover out, you’ll just have to keep watching!
