Manpreet has been portrayed by Rebecca Sarker for the previous four years.

The 47-year-old was raised and was born in Halifax before enrolling in a drama program.

Rebecca is a cast member of Emmerdale and a contestant on the Holly Willoughby and Freddie Flintoff-hosted new sports challenge program The Games.

She is one of the 12 celebrities competing in the show, in which they will compete live for one week in nine Olympic sports.

Before departing the show in 2000, Rebecca made her acting debut in Coronation Street as Nita Desai back in 1999.

She has also acted in several television series, including Doctors, Holby City, The Golden Hour, and EastEnders, where she appeared in two episodes as Dr. Newton.

Other projects for the actress include the 2005 ITV drama The Golden Hour, the films John Carter and Twenty Twelve, and the role of Nina Osbourne in the latter.

She recently shared details of her family life with her two teenage kids with her admirers, saying: “I have to correct the record.

I’ve got two sons! My eldest always wants me to emphasize that I have two boys, and my youngest, who is 10 years old, enjoys the fact that his elder brother, who is now 15 years old, is never mentioned.”

Rebecca stated that her kids “would probably never forgive me if I didn’t take part” before participating on The Games.
