Iconic Corrie ‘character’ to be destroyed as Norris hides secret before death

Norris Cole’s death will be announced to his buddies on the street this week, as viewers are aware.

Next week, a Coronation Street icon will be demolished because it contains a secret about a Weatherfield legend.

Norris Cole’s death will be announced to his buddies on the street this week, as viewers are aware.

Before word gets out, his wife Freda Burgess will convey the news to Mary Taylor, Rita Tanner, and Ken Barlow.

However, Mary and Freda clash later this week over Norris’ burial arrangements.

When they debate over where the wake should be held, Rita intervenes, claiming that Norris would select the street.

The debate over Norris’ burial, however, continues to intensify, and Mary reveals that she will stand aside so that Freda may handle the funeral herself.

In the ITV soap, the funeral is set to take place next week.

There’s also a touch of drama, as vicar Billy Mayhew reads aloud a letter written by Norris, in true Norris flair.

The late character wrapped up his letter by admitting that Rita used to have her hair dyed by Claudia underhandedly, leaving Audrey betrayed.

Norris suggests that the paperboy outside The Kabin has a mystery, but there’s more.

The paperboy model has been a street mainstay for many years and has seen plenty of action.

Later, Mary, Ken, Gail, and Brian convene outside The Kabin to discover the secret Norris secreted within the paperboy.

Mary arrives with a chainsaw and decapitates the model when they are unable to unlock it.

What mysteries are hidden inside, is the great question.
