Huge secret hangs over Chloe Harris and Mackenzie Boyd’s christening in Emmerdale

Reuben’s christening will definitely be held, according to CHLOE Harris.

Unsavory Mackenzie Boyd, who will receive a new secret in Emmerdale the following week, may unfortunately be about to spoil everything.

Early this year, Charity Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd, played by Lawrence Robb and Emma Atkins, got married.

But it quickly became clear that he was the father of Chloe Harris’ son Reuben.

Before things took a turn for the worse and Mack chose to give Chloe (Jessie Elland) and romance a chance, Charity, who was unable to forgive, announced she wanted a divorce.

With the birth of their son Reuben, the couple has now established a close-knit family.

However, if they lie to you, they’ll almost certainly lie to you later.

Chloe and Mack are taking it easy in their new relationship, which will air on ITV the following week.

When her brother Mackenzie asks Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) to serve as Reuben’s godmother, Moira becomes upset.

Meanwhile, Chloe is delighted that Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) and Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson), her own sister, will also serve as godparents.

Chloe first dismisses Charity’s sincere offer to host it in the Woolpack when the venue falls through.

Soon after, Mackenzie approaches Charity with a cap in hand and begs for the chance to accept her kind offer.

They both become emotional in the end, and Mackenzie and Charity eventually hug passionately.

Both of them feel humiliated after the incident, and Mack leaves quickly, leaving Charity to reflect on the afternoon’s events.

He feels bad about how appreciative Chloe is of his work for the Christening when he gets home.

Charity, who is unaware of him, can’t help but want for a reconciliation with her ex-husband.

The next day, Chloe is forced to uncomfortably defuse the tension because Mack is so preoccupied.

At Butlers Farm, Mackenzie shows up in need of some sisterly guidance.

He receives a reality check from Moira, who warns him that if Chloe learns about him and Charity, he might lose Reuben.

Although Mack is aware that he must choose, he is hesitant of his decision.

Charity tells her cousin Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) that she slept with Mackenzie while he mulls over his next move.

The Christening has begun, but what will happen?

By disclosing her tryst with Mack, may Charity bring about chaos at the event?
