Former ITV Corrie star Faye Brookes’ sadness as she announces split from her partner

Faye, who portrayed Kate Connor in the soap opera, announced on social media that she and Joe, the personal trainer, have decided to part ways.

The Flixton, England, native Faye, 34, assured her followers that their friendship is still as strong as ever.

After selling their apartment in Manchester and moving outside of the city center a year ago, she only recently revealed that the two of them were working on renovations to their “permanent house.”

Tweeted by her: “Just wanted to let you know that Joe and I have chosen to part ways after almost three years together, which is really sad.

We had the best of times, and our friendship, respect, and affection for one another is stronger than ever.”

As she reflected on life-changing occurrences that she referred to as “lifequakes,” the stage and film actress, who is presently portraying the iconic character of Roxie Hart in the Chicago UK tour, referred to her partner Joe Davies as her “rock.”

She talked about the challenges of being constantly on the go while posting a picture of herself and Joe designing their future house on Instagram in June.

She typed, “Still planning away.” Our home renovations are still ongoing and most likely will remain so throughout the summer.

Added her: “We must ensure that we check in with one another because it’s not simple when I’m constantly on the road for work.

Behind the scenes, all you’ll see is a constant stream of messages being exchanged between parties to finalize decisions that must be made regarding our forever home.”

At the end of 2019, Faye announced her relationship with Joe to the public. Gareth Gates, a Pop Idol finalist, and she were previously engaged.

After agreeing to call off their wedding because they realized “it wasn’t meant to be,” the ex-couple pledged to keep in touch.

At a friend’s high-rise apartment in New York, Gareth proposed with a four-carat diamond ring.

And on a big piano, he played a 17-minute piece he had composed for Faye.

From 2015 to 2019, Faye played Kate in Coronation Street. On Dancing On Ice last year, she came in second place to Capital radio host Sonny Jay.

She has stated that she is “savoring every second” of the trip since she has always wished she could play Roxie.

I battled so hard for this part, she declared. I’m relishing every second because Roxie is like an onion that you can’t stop peeling back the layers of.

She recently posted a fresh photo of herself dressed up in her dressing room with the caption, “Four weeks of Roxie.”

Faye has also expressed her desire to return to Corrie as Kate in the future.

She expressed her gratitude for the “very much open” door that was left for her to return someday after her character departed to travel as a result of the terrible passing of her intended Rana Habeeb.
