Hollyoaks star Rachel Adedeji left the part of Lisa Loveday in September of a year ago, and has now uncovered her next project.
The entertainer and previous The X Factor hopeful will show up in a BBC pilot for Dreaming Whilst Black, in view of a web arrangement of a similar name from a couple of years prior.
The venture is the infant of Adjani Salmon and is incompletely founded on his life. He’ll be playing a wannabe movie producer called Kwabena, who attempts to get his content got while adjusting his own life and the assumptions for his frustrated family.
Salmon is cited by Chortle as saying: “After a particularly exceptional reaction to the web arrangement, where we discovered a group of people who truly associated with Kwabena’s excursion, I’m upbeat we’ve made our show for TV. I’m eager to impart this story to our soonest and new crowds the same.”
“The semi-anecdotal portrayal of the excursion towards acknowledgment lastly making it is so on point,” the BBC’s appointing manager, Sarah Asante, added. “Most watchers will identify with the rollercoaster experiences of our driving man.”
Sharing the declaration on Twitter, Adedeji expressed: “A particularly extraordinary cast, a particularly incredible group. So happy to be included.”

Just as Salmon himself and Adedeji, the pilot will highlight individual best-in-class entertainers like PlsLike’s Tom Stourton and Ian Hislop’s child Will Hislop, and Tom Byrne, who The Crown fans will perceive as Prince Andrew.
The pilot for Dreaming Whilst Black will drop on BBC iPlayer on April 19.
