Emmerdale’s Sam Gannon dies suddenly aged 31 while travelling abroad

Star of Emmerdale Sam Gannon passed away at age 31.

The actor, who was well-known for his portrayal as Kev in the enduring series, went unexpectedly while visiting family in California.

Amy Kelly, Sam’s sister, confirmed the news and stated: “Sam was a whirlwind, to put it mildly, a unique character.

He had a very sensitive nature and truly cared about other people. He clearly touched the hearts of a lot of people, as evidenced by the tributes we have received.

Sam was a “real life Duracell bunny” with an apparently limitless supply of energy and love, according to close friend Lewis Matthews.

He charmed crowds with his wit, humor, and amazing musical ability.

Police are looking into the actor’s death, although it is not being looked at suspiciously.

In Emmerdale in 2019, he played the part of coachman Kev for a horse-drawn carriage.

Sam co-starred with Charity Dingle in the episode with Emma Atkins.

A JustGiving campaign was created by his family to seek money to fly the actor back to the UK.

“Due to Sam’s untimely and recent passing. All donations will go toward returning his remains from the US and paying for his funeral, according to what they stated.

“Since we are unsure of the final price, we have set the aim at £17,000.

Sam was a true performer, and any additional funds raised will be sent to a UK organization that supports young theater, which was a cause dear to Sam.

Of the $17,000 needed, £6,200 have been raised as of publication.

Additionally, Amy wants to create a foundation in her brother’s honor for people who “need extra help.”

On the contribution website, many paid tribute to the actor. One buddy wrote: “The very best of men, always with a smile and a joke. Always willing to lend a hand, kind, and entertaining.

“Sam and I worked together at The York Dungeons, and Duracell Bunny is the appropriate nickname for him. A second person added, “Sending so much love to his family x.

Someone wrote: “I’m sending Sam’s family and friends my love and condolences. Sam was someone I never had the pleasure of meeting, but Wendy Patterson, my younger sister, did.”

“Sam was under my direction in a few projects. He was such a gifted young actor, that both audiences and friends enjoyed watching him perform. This loss is incredibly heartbreaking. I’m thinking of his family. I apologize, “Someone inserted.
