Emmerdale’s Rhona heartache as newcomer rips world apart in Pierce Harris horror

Emmerdale producers have revealed that Rhona Gorskirk’s late ex-husband Pierce Harris’ son is set to arrive in the Dales in February, with actor Darcy Gray debuting as Marcus Dean.

Rhona Goskirk’s Emmerdale life is about to be turned upside down when the son of her late ex-partner Pierce Harris arrives in the village.

Marcus Dean, the son of evil rapist Pierce Harris, has arrived in the village, and his presence has come as a huge shock to his mother.

“Marcus’ arrival will certainly ruffle a few feathers and flutter a few hearts in the village,” Emmerdale producer Kate Brooks said, adding that while his arrival will certainly bring a lot of drama to the soap, there is more to him than meets the eye.

“However, it won’t be long before people realize Marcus is more than just Pierce’s son.”

Despite the fact that Marcus has more to offer, his presence is going to cause Rhona a lot of concern as she revisits horrific episodes from her past on the drama.

Will she be able to rekindle her relationship with Marcus? Or will his presence destabilize her relationship with Marlon? The audience will have to wait and see what happens.

Darcy Gray will play Marcus Dean on the soap, and he revealed that he couldn’t believe it when he got the part.

He stated, ” “I was quietly smiling inside when my agent sent me the character of Marcus Dean.

“We have so many similarities, both positive and negative! “I know who this child is,” I thought.

“Getting the call to announce I got the part was one of those pinch-yourself moments that performers only dream about.”

Darcy will make his Emmerdale debut as Marcus on February 3rd, 2022, and he is excited to share his character’s journey with viewers.

“For Marcus, the conflict of wanting to forget his relationship with his Dad but also, ultimately, wanting to simply be loved is a difficulty many of us experience, and one that I hope I can bring some truth to,” Darcy said of the character and his desire to distance himself from his abusive father. I can’t wait to see where his trip in the hamlet leads him because he’s such an open book with such an unpredictable future!”
