On Loose Women, producer of Emmerdale Kate Brooks’ wife Michelle Hardwick revealed they have a son together.
Kate Brooks and Michelle Hardwick’s unborn daughter has been made public.
The good news was revealed on Loose Women today by the couple, who first connected on the Emmerdale set. Teddy, a kid they welcomed in October 2020, is now a part of their family.
Michelle gushed as she held hands with Kate, “It seems to have flown by this time.” Morning sickness was severe. The pair continued by talking about how they got married on the run in the US in Memphis.
We’ve been married for over three years now, she continued, based on where we are now. Insisting that they were “totally great,” Michelle said that she had first been concerned about alerting their family about their intentions to elope, particularly because her dad is an Elvis enthusiast.
Michelle and Kate stated that this time, their donor is also Teddy’s biological father, and that he would be open to meeting the kids when they turn 18 if they wanted to. So baby number two is a tiny girl, Michelle exclaimed joyfully after revealing the gender.
The judges offered their congratulations to the couple, who later brought their son Teddy to share the good news.
Last month, Michelle posted a picture of a screen stating: “COMING THIS WINTER… Baby Brooks #2” on Instagram. Their son can be seen excitedly raising his hands and beaming beneath the television. Writer Michelle “Our wonderful news has us giddy with delight! Today marks my 20th week, and I can almost put a cup of tea on my belly.”
They received a flurry of congratulations from friends and coworkers, with Hollyoaks actress Anna Nightingale gushing: “Waaaaaa! The best news ever, love to you guys, x.” While Mandy Dingle’s on-screen counterpart Lisa Riley said: “FINALLY!!! You both know how happy we are for you, and I can now say that my father and brother love you both. Love is so much.”
The news followed the couple’s declaration that they would adore having a second child earlier this year. At Elvis Presley’s Graceland residence in Memphis, Michelle, 46, and Kate, 39, were married in 2019. Teddy, their son, was delivered in October 2020 following IVF therapy.
Contacting OK! The couple discussed their plans to grow their family, and Michelle—who portrays Emmerdale vet Vanessa Woodfield—said she would want to meet Teddy’s biological father and express her gratitude to him.
After reading about the traits of the candidates, their family life, and their ideals, the couple decided the donor would be Teddy’s biological father as part of the IVF process. When Teddy becomes 18, he can ask who his father is, and Michelle vows they will support him wholeheartedly. “I’d love to meet him just to say thank you so much for letting us become parents and for giving us the most gorgeous little son,” she said.
