Emmerdale’s Paige Sandhu issues career announcement after being approached by reality TV shows
Paige Sandhu of Emmerdale has made a career announcement after being contacted by reality TV programs.
The actress, who portrayed serial killer Meena Jutla on the enduring ITV soap, claimed to have declined job offers from executives.
She won’t be appearing on Strictly Come Dancing or in the jungle on I’m A Celebrity, so viewers shouldn’t expect to see her there either.
It is scary leaving the show because security is such an important asset, but I want to keep playing various characters so that I can continue to challenge myself, she said in an interview with the Mirror.
“It would have been cozy if I had continued to play Meena for the rest of my life.
However, I would also wish to do other things. I’ve been asked to participate in a reality program, but I can’t reveal which one, and I’m not.
She also disregarded the idea of migrating to America. As she said, “I’m such a home girl. I’m not sure if I could cross the border and work a pilot season.
In Emmerdale, murderous Meena is completing a 75-year sentence. Fans believe she still has a chance to return and have predicted that she will break out of jail and return to the town to exact retribution.
