Emmerdale’s Michelle Hardwick introduces new baby Betty to co-stars in heartwarming reunion pictures

The opportunity to see Michelle Hardwick, who plays Vanessa Woodfield’s lovely infant Betty, has attracted a throng of Emmerdale celebrities to her home.

Earlier this year, in November, Michelle gave birth to Betty, the second child she and producer Kate Brooks have. This was right before Vanessa, a character on Emmerdale, left for a new career in Canada.

She still maintains a sizable network of contacts, several of whom have already paid the family a visit.

Natalie Ann Jamieson, Olivia Bromley, Karen Blick, and Fiona Wade, among others, have all stopped over recently for a few cuddles with the newborn.

Michelle shared pictures from each visit, along with charming notes, on Instagram.

It was a beautiful evening when these two beauties arrived yesterday night. Teddy and Betty are great fans,’ she captioned a picture of newborn Betty being held by Olivia and Natalie, who play Dawn Taylor and Amy Wyatt, respectively.

Natalie retorted, “And they have two big fans too,” adding, “Beautiful babas, beautiful mothers, beautiful night,” followed by a kiss.

The character Priya recently left the town for a new job in London, and Fiona, who had also recently left the village, described her time with the family as “beautiful,” saying: “Gorgeous afternoon with you guys.

“I adore Betty; she is such a sweet little doll!” I really do love you all.

While Betty was the focal point of the photographs, Michelle and Kate’s first child Teddy also participated in the events. Michelle shared a sweet snap of Lydia Dingle actress Karen giving Teddy something on her phone.

With her “lovely friend,” Michelle always had “the nicest time,” and she was ready to brag about the “wonderful morning” they had shared.

Dominic Brunt, who plays Paddy Kirk, has also visited the Brooks household before, so it seems that there is never a dull time there.

Not just Emmerdale actors, but Amy Robbins from Coronation Street has also stopped over for a cup of coffee.

Exactly 20 years before her trip to see newborn Betty, Amy and Michelle first connected on the set of The Royal. Since then, the two have remained close friends, and Michelle even asked Amy to be Betty’s godmother.

Amy debuted on Coronation Street earlier this year in the role of Christina, Daisy Midgeley’s (Charlotte Jordan) mother. It was only a brief spell, though, as she had already finished filming.

While many of us want Vanessa to return to the Emmerdale village, it is nice to see Michelle taking advantage of her maternity leave while surrounded by loved ones.
