Emmerdale’s Mark Charnock wished well as he swaps UK for Spain

Mark Charnock, who plays Marlon Dingle in Emmerdale, received well wishes from his followers after departing for Spain this week.

One of Emmerdale’s longest-serving cast members, the performer has been on the venerable ITV soap for a remarkable 28 years. Marlon Dingle is the father of April Windsor and Leo Goskirk, the brother of Eli Dingle, and the son of Albert and Delilah Dingle.

Mark is well-known and has maintained his fan base throughout the years.

On Friday, the 54-year-old posted some photos from Valencia to Instagram. A fancy-looking dinner was depicted in one image, with the subtitle, “How they make scrambled eggs in Valencia. The RUDDY HECK.

In the second, which included a black-and-white image of a Spanish street, Mark expressed his “very British” response to the current heatwave affecting Spain and other parts of Europe.

In the comments, admirers have expressed their best wishes for him. Oh my god, what a place, Jenny exclaimed. Lisa responded: “Love Valencia, beautiful place, some great memories x. Have the best time.”

Rhian said: “Have an amazing time,” and Irene said: “Stunning.”
