Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley asks ‘how did that happen’ as she celebrates milestone

With her nine-year partner Al, Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley beams and wonders, “How did that happen?” as she celebrates her birthday.

On her 47th birthday, she posted a glamorous selfie to Instagram where she flaunted her sparkling top and her love for her partner.

“Stepping into my BIRTHDAY TODAY…..with a massive smile and a whole lot of SPARKLE,” she wrote next to it.

She said, “47 TODAY, how the bloody hell did that happen?????????.”

She received a barrage of messages from her co-stars and soap opera fans while on a cruise with Al.

While celebrating and on a cruise with her partner, Lisa, who is from Bury in Greater Manchester, received a tonne of messages from her co-stars and fans.

Happy birthday, beautiful! Natalie Ann Jamieson, who plays Amy Wyatt, stated. Have a great day.

Happy birthday, Samantha Giles, who portrays Bernice Blackstock. Have a fantastic day.

Actress Karen Blick, who portrays Lydia Hart, wrote on Facebook: “Happy Birthday, beautiful.”

The actor who portrays Matt Barton, Ash Palmisciano, retorted, “Happy birthday lovely, hope your having a lovely day.”

In addition, Georgia Taylor, who portrays Toyah Battersby on Coronation Street, wished the young girl well: “Happiest of birthdays to you, darling.”

Daisy, who portrays Amelia Spencer, and Lisa have been getting along well both on and off camera; she even wrote an entire post in honour of Lisa’s birthday.

Happy birthday to our very own princess, she wrote beside a photo of the couple taking a selfie in a dressing room mirror. I cherish you. (sic)

Lisa thanked everyone for their good greetings on Instagram today, writing: “THANK YOU THANK YOU for all your kind good comments yesterday.

“I have no words to describe how beautiful my entire day was. I went to the LANGFOSSEN WATERFALL, which is surrounded by stunning natural scenery and is simply amazing.

“We enjoyed a delicious supper together at the amazing EPICUREAN, and we ended the evening listening to live music while reading all of your lovely words.

A day to remember, TRUE TRUE.As I frequently state, I don’t require anything.”I am a memory collector.” BIRTHDAY.” (sic)

The gossip and the worry about what other people will think of you…When you become older, you tend to lose interest in what other people think of you, but because Mary is in such a vulnerable situation, I believe the situation has gotten much more exaggerated.

If you’re incredibly self-assured and a picture of you in your pants gets circulated widely, you might think, “Oh well, that’s a little embarrassing,” but you’re probably over it by this point. However, it’s particularly hurtful given Mary’s current situation.
