Emmerdale’s Kim Tate actress Claire King lost almost a stone by changing one key thing

The fiery Kim Tate character was performed by Emmerdale veteran Claire King for eleven years on the venerable ITV soap opera before she left in 1999 to explore other career possibilities.
After over 20 years away, it was revealed in 2018 that the actress would return to the show as Kim Tate for a special week of episodes.
King’s army of supporters, however, greeted her homecoming with wide arms as it was announced that she would make a permanent comeback in 2019.
When she returned, spectators immediately recognized her new, smaller shape as a result of a significant weight loss.
Actress Claire has now admitted that she lost 10 pounds by adhering to a well-liked eating plan.
The 60-year-old is candid about having lost weight. Claire said she followed the 5:2 diet, which calls for eating a regular, healthy food for five days each week and then fasting on 500 calories for the other two. She credited intermittent fasting for her change.
People who use this well-known diet strategy typically consume fewer calories during a predetermined window of time each day, usually eight hours.
Additionally, the Kim Tate star gave up red meat, wheat, and dairy six days a week. She sought the assistance of a fitness professional at the time, who put her on a rigorous diet.
Claire discussed the following in an interview with our friends at The Mirror: “Vegetarian diets are typically advised by [my trainer]. She agreed to let me add chicken when I begged with her to include some meat.”
According to Claire’s diet plan, she would start each day with a glass of lemon water and a few grapes. She would also make sure to drink two liters of water every day to be hydrated.
She claimed that developing a successful routine was essential to her success and that she would follow the same steps each morning.
