Emmerdale’s Jeff Hordley teams up with co-star for new film

Jeff Hordley, a star of the soap opera Emmerdale, has teamed up with a fellow cast member to make a new movie.

The 52-year-old actor is well known for playing Cain Dingle in the enduring soap opera. After learning that his mother had terminal cancer, the character in the show is going through a challenging period.

Thankfully, Jeff’s situation appears to be more positive than his on-screen alter ego. A new short film that he and Billy Fletcher actor Jay Kontzle developed features some of the most well-liked actors in the country.

Timothy West, Angela Lonsdale, and Judith Barker all have roles in the short, Jay revealed in a post on Instagram on Tuesday.

In the movie Bring Back My Bonnie, an old man with dementia tries to keep his deceased wife alive by talking to her.

When his daughter notices his decline, she makes every effort to make dad feel at ease, and the shared memories strengthen their bond.

The two are not the only Emmerdale actors who have dabbled in the movie industry. Dominic Brunt, who plays Paddy Kirk, is also a producer and director. In 2012’s Before Dawn, 2014’s Bait, and 2017’s Attack of the Adult Babies, Dominic, a devotee of the zombie horror subgenre, directed and starred in those films.

Earlier this year, Dominic posted on Twitter that he has directed the brand-new feature film “Wolf Manor” in an exciting update.
