Jeff Hordley, a veteran of Emmerdale, has expressed his sorrow about his impending departure from the soap opera.
The 50th anniversary storylines for Emmerdale will heavily feature Jeff Horldey, who plays Cain Dingle. This October, there will be a month filled with significant events.
Faith Dingle’s cancer battle will come to a painful end thanks to one of the more dramatic plots. Jeff plays Faith’s son in the soap opera, as fans are aware.
Jeff explained: “My character is embroiled in the Faith plot” during a press conference introducing Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary. Although I’m personally devastated by the passing of the great Sally Dexter, it will allow for some fantastic future stories. That is all I am aware of.
The head of Emmerdale, Jane Hudson, went into a little more detail about what viewers of the soap can anticipate from the significant milestone month.
Instead of just celebrating one day, she explained, “we thought, why not mark it by celebrating the entire month? And that is just what we will be doing.
“In true Emmerdale fashion, we have every conceivable narrative. We have items that will make you smile, cry, be shocked, and see feats that will rock your world.
“Celebrating not only our fantastic individuals but also the village as a whole was very important to us. Our village will be the focus for the entire month, and it will be beautifully showcased.
