Emmerdale’s Dan Spencer actor enjoys date day with famous wife

With four acknowledged roles in Emmerdale, Liam Fox is best known for his 2011 portrayal of Dan Spencer. His wife Joanna Hudson has also been on the ITV soap.

Amelia Spencer, Dan’s teenage daughter, is pregnant, and as if that weren’t dramatic enough, Dan recently learned that his own brother is actually Amelia’s biological father. This has caused Dan some difficulties in the Dales.

Though luckily considerably less dramatic, actor Liam Fox’s life outside of Emmerdale is less dramatic. He got married to his former co-star Joanna Hudson in 2020; the couple had really dated before while Liam was still in college.

Along with her husband, Joanna has appeared in the Yorkshire-based soap opera as Ross Barton’s doctor. She has also acted in a number of short films, including The Bromley Boys.

In front of a crowd that included Denise Van Outen and several Emmerdale cast members, Liam and Joanna exchanged vows in February 2020 at Pickerton Castle in Cheshire.

Dan, who has been married before, proposed barely ten months before they said “I do,” despite the fact that they first met 27 years ago at Salford University.

And as their love has grown stronger, they frequently post pictures of themselves on social media doing activities like walking, grilling, having date nights, and more.

Liam most recently uploaded a selfie of the two of them in Henley on Thames, enjoying a Sunday meal and a drink of wine together. “Sunday lunch at Henley on Thames… très Bon,” he captioned the photo.

The fans and Liam’s other co-stars instantly swamped the comments area with congratulations. Fiona Wade, who plays Priya Sharma, wrote: “Love you guys!” right away. The couple received warm wishes from fans as well. Charlotte wrote: “You two are very cute,” and Alienworld wrote: “Looking smooth dude.”
