Emmerdale theory: Rhona Goskirk sparks unlikely romance with another woman
When Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), the character Rhona Goskirk, finally mustered the courage to walk down the aisle on their wedding day, Rhona Goskirk (played by Zoe Henry), was filled with emotion.
Although it seems like the Emmerdale characters are enjoying life more than ever, Rhona actress Zoe has indicated that her character might start seeing someone else.
Watching Marlon, who had a stroke in March, climb out of his wheelchair and approach Rhona at the altar of St. Mary’s Church brought tears to the eyes of Emmerdale viewers.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds went on to The Woolpack to celebrate their special day with family and friends.
Will this marriage last the distance, though, considering that both of the characters have been married previously on multiple occasions?
After suffering a stroke earlier this year, Marlon is still having health problems, and his recovery is not an easy one.
The Emmerdale cook still struggles with his speech and currently needs to use a wheelchair.

Speaking to the media at an Emmerdale press conference, Rhona actor Zoe hinted that her character would develop feelings for a lady in upcoming sequences.
The 48-year-old responded to the question concerning Rhona and Marlon’s future by saying: “I love this topic, because you can say they’re good, but in two years, one of us will be dead or a lesbian with someone else.
In that [wedding] incident, what you have to do is “be] in the moment and in my head, I think they are soulmates, but who knows”
Even if their relationship might end as soon as “next week,” Marlon actor Mark claimed that “right now they are as strong as a pair can be.”
Could history repeat itself? The Emmerdale vet formerly had a lesbian affair with her friend Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick).
Several years ago, Rhona had an affair with Vanessa and left Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) for another woman.
Rhona later acknowledged that she was merely using Vanessa, but could everything have been a big lie?
Once the novelty of her marriage to Marlon wears off, will she start an affair with Vanessa or a new woman?
In addition, Zoe stated that her real-life husband Jeff Hordley, who plays Cain Dingle, does not want her to adopt the surname of a Dingle on the soap opera.
After marrying Marlon, she preserved the last name Goskirk, and she expressed her happiness that her wish had come true.
She has never altered her name, and I don’t mind certain little Dingle references, according to Zoe.
Additionally, Zoe admitted that she originally wanted Rhona to wear a colored wedding gown, but she refrained because it was Rhona’s fourth wedding and she wasn’t attempting to fool anyone.
Rhona was outfitted with a chic white satin dress and a feathered headband by the costume designer.
