Emmerdale theory: Charity Dingle pregnant but Mackenzie Boyd is not the father

Being a mother of four children already, Charity wasn’t expecting to learn she was expecting her fifth child in her late 40s while working on Emmerdale.
This coincided with Amelia Spencer’s (Daisy Campbell) pregnancy, and as of right now, it appears to the ITV soap opera’s fans that neither baby’s father is known.
In a sad turn of events, it’s possible that Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) has been duped in his relationship without even being aware of it.
In the episode that aired on Wednesday night, the drama started when Amelia showed up for her termination appointment but panicked when the time came.
She was intercepted by Charity as she fled the abortion clinic, who was shocked to learn her neighbor was expecting.
The stalwart eventually persuaded Amelia that she was there because she was an elderly woman who wanted her fibroids removed.
The little child seemed to believe the story despite not wanting to ask too many questions about these non-cancerous growths that develop in or around the womb.
Charity escorted Amelia back into the clinic and sat with her as the doctor discussed the possible options.
Charity advised the young woman to think twice before proceeding with the abortion when they were back in the village.
Amelia was in the same situation as the stalwart, but she was unaware of it until the episode’s conclusion, when it was verified.
Charity was witnessed rescheduling her abortion after escorting Mackenzie out of the house since she was seen by a neighbor outside the clinic and did not show up for her appointment.
She sounded certain on the phone that she would carry out the termination, but if her secret is revealed, the choice may be made for her.
However, Mackenzie might realize that he is most likely not the father when he learns that his girlfriend is expecting.
This is due to the fact that the couple hasn’t been intimate in a long due to everything happening on with her family, including her son Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) entering prison.
It’s possible that Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), who may have slept with Charity after learning that his mother Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) had terminal cancer, is the father of the child.
He might have been enraged and desired retribution for Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) keeping him in the dark about the news for months.
He might have regretted it right afterwards, and he and Charity might have agreed to never discuss it again.
Sadly, the fact that she is expecting could make their relationship secret vulnerable, but will Mackenzie learn who the baby’s real father is?
Emma, the actress who plays Charity, has opened up about her role’s recurrent pregnancies and prospects.
Emma clarified: “There is no way that this was [a planned pregnancy].
“She keeps it a closely guarded secret and doesn’t want to talk about it just yet, especially not with Mackenzie because she isn’t sure whether she really wants to keep it.
“I believe that once she opens that kind of cabinet of a dilemma and asks herself, “What should she do?,” the situation completely changes.
She is aware of her secret, therefore there is a lot of stress, anxiety, and guilt. I think it will be interesting.
The actress continued, “I believe a lot of the time Charity thinks, ‘What’s the fastest way to fix a problem?'”
“She knows she’s in her late 40s and isn’t the best mother in the town, so I don’t even think she can handle telling the entire village she is pregnant. Make it practically unnoticeable.
“I believe there will be a great deal of doubt and criticism, and I believe she is aware of this. She is not a mother. She hasn’t spent enough time with Mackenzie.
“And because he’s younger, she worries that becoming a domestic will cage him in cultural norms, and she assumes he won’t be interested in that.
It’s very interesting to observe because when the audience finally sees his face, it’s very different from the one she imagines.
The serial star continued, “My character has several facets, and she’s a little bit of a rebel.”
It’s more exciting, in my opinion, to have a character who can’t help but get into problems than it is to have a rational guy.
This raises the question of whether Charity’s recent embrace of her rebellious side is a major signal that she is now carrying another man’s child.
With what appears to be two births on the horizon, this could set up some dramatic drama before the show celebrates its 50th anniversary later this year.
