Emmerdale stars share unused storylines they’re dying to make happen

Both Mark Charnock and Zo Henry stated that they wanted their characters to have more family-focused plotlines.

A significant Emmerdale wedding is coming up, and the program will mark its 50th anniversary in November. Every theme under the sun has been explored since the show first broadcast, from murder and storms to heartbreak and family difficulties.

Marlon and Rhona, two of the longest-running characters on the program, have been given fantastic roles, but their actors acknowledge that there are still certain scripts they’d like to see come to pass. They discussed their future goals for their characters when they spoke with the Liverpool Echo and other journalists.

Actress Zoe Henry, who plays Rhona Goskirk, stated: “I did always wonder if they’d bring any family in and they did with Mary [Goskirk], who we agree has been an amazing addition so that’s nice.”

Marck Charnock, who plays Marlon Dingle, continued, “I had thought they may bring Mary in [for me.] Marlon’s mother is someone we barely know. She has been mentioned in the sense that I have stated, “I swear on my mother’s grave,” but we don’t actually know anything about his mother.

We know that his father, Albert Dingle, was not particularly tall, therefore I believe it would be hilarious to introduce this tall woman as my mother.

Mark responded, “It’s good to have your own story, but it’s incredibly nice to be in other people’s as well. ” The Liverpool Echo asked the actors whether there were any stories they hoped were written for them. Thus, it never gets old and you are always a part of anything. However, if you start to speculate about what they might do or desire for what they might do, I believe you will become frustrated or disappointed.

Everything is a surprise, so you really don’t need to think about such things, which is what’s amazing about it.
