Emmerdale star Jeff Hordley calls for Charley Webb to return

Jeff Hordley, an Emmerdale actor, has stated his desire to see Charley Webb come back to the show.

The actress who portrays Debbie Dingle, Jeff’s on-screen daughter, was last seen in 2021 on the ITV serial opera, and she stated this year that she has no intentions to return to the Dales.

When asked by The Sun if he would like to see Charley continue where she left off, Jeff responded, “Absolutely, all day. I talk to Charley a lot, although I believe she is rather preoccupied with other things.

She was such a huge role in the show and such a crucial and fundamental one, so there is always opportunity for her to come back, he continued. It would be lovely to see her return because she created so many fantastic narratives.

Jeff has already advocated for Charley to come back, as the actor stated to the Radio Times last year: “Cain is defective, so I simply have to figure out why he does what he does. No one has the same ability to connect with him as Debbie does, and I would dearly love Charley Webb to reprise her role.

The actress has a role in the stage play Quiz, which dramatizes the events of the infamous Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? coughing controversy, so it doesn’t appear like she will be making a return anytime soon, even if she does.

Charley posted on Instagram to confirm her casting, saying: “I’ve been so pleased to announce this. In the play Quiz, written by the incredible @misterjamesgraham, I’ll be making my theatrical debut as Diana Ingram.

“We’re launching in @chichesterft on Friday, September 22, and we’ll be touring to some incredible theaters for nine weeks. both anxious and thrilled. in my bio, a link. Who is arriving?
