Jay Kontzle of Emmerdale and his wife Mimi celebrated their anniversary with some adorable social media posts.

Jay, who portrays Billy Fletcher in the ITV soap, posted a photo of himself and his wife looking younger, with the comment “Seven Years Married.”

Mimi posted a more recent photo with the caption, “Happy wedding anniversary to us.” “I will always love you.”

Jay joked last month that he wasn’t delighted with Billy’s new plot since it hit too close to home for him. Billy and Dawn discovered they are expecting a child together on the soap, while Jay and Mimi welcomed their third child in November of last year.

“I felt like the show was doing me over, to be honest!” Jay told Digital Spy and other journalists. When I heard the news, I thought to myself, ‘Come on, Jane [Hudson, executive producer], you’re killing me here!’

“Billy is a good guy with a good heart.” I’m obviously a kind guy, yet my kids drive me insane and stress me out!

“We’re just putting together a cot right now, and it’s been a nightmare; it’s killing us.”
