When Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) and Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) revealed a few months ago that they were expecting a baby together, everyone on Emmerdale was thrilled.

Dawn was already the mother of one boy, Lucas, for whom Billy recently obtained formal guardianship. Lucas’s sister Clemmie is also taken care of by the pair.

When Dawn went to her friend’s funeral, Clemmie entered her life. Dawn discovered a neglected Clemmie resting on a dog bed when her partner Jade brought her back home.

Dawn and Billy were able to adopt Clemmie after learning that she and Lucas had the same father.

Taking care of Clemmie at Home Farm has presented numerous difficulties. She responded negatively when she learned that Dawn was pregnant, believing that Dawn and Billy wouldn’t want her there.

The nursery will be the main topic of discussion in future episodes because Clemmie and Lucas have come to terms with the prospect of having a sibling.

Since Dawn’s baby is expected around Christmas, the family is busy organizing things, but Kim (Claire King) ends up berating Dawn and Billy for their decorating ideas.

Later, Dawn walks up to Kim and asks if she’ll be her birthing partner. Kim is thrilled to hear this.

When Rhona (Zoe Henry) discovers Dawn in pain and rushes to get Liam (Jonny McPherson), plans for a home birth and making sure everything is as organized as possible may be thrown out the window.
