Emmerdale spoilers next week: soap wedding, Kit’s two-timing exposed and Marcus rumbled

Fans of the ITV soap opera Emmerdale are set for a big week because a highly awaited soap wedding is planned.

After a last-minute sprint to the hospital the previous night, Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and Rhona Goskirk (Zo Henry) had touching scenes as they exchange vows.

In the meantime, Kit (Thoren Ferguson), a newcomer, has his double-dealing revealed, which could cause problems for Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) and her stepdaughter Gabby Thomas ( Rosie Bentham ).

Manpreet Sharma gets a shock when she overhears Marcus Dean talking on the phone in another location.

Marlon suffers pre-wedding emergency

After his stag party, a worn-out Marlon gets up with the intention of going down the aisle to follow his recovery from a serious stroke, but his legs give way under him.

Marlon and his close friend Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) decide that once he hits the ground, he should go to the hospital to be examined.

He is adamant, though, that he doesn’t need an ambulance since he doesn’t want to disrupt Rhona’s night before the important event.

When the hospital doctor informs Marlon that he must stay overnight due to his extremely high blood pressure, Marlon is distraught.

Marlon and Rhona tie the knot

Rhona is overjoyed as the big day approaches, but Marlon finds out while still at the hospital that his blood pressure levels are still too high for him to be released.

Paddy tries to calm Marlon down, but it’s challenging when they start to worry that the great day may be ruined.

Rhona realizes there is a problem as her mother Mary (Louise Jameson) and friend Vanessa attempt to keep her from getting to the chapel.

While Vanessa comforts the bride, she hopes Marlon will still be able to make it. Outside, Priya is relieved to see Paddy and a focused Marlon heading toward the chapel.

As Rhona says that Marlon must have experienced a setback, he makes it through in his swanky wheelchair in poignant scenes.

Finally exchanging vows, Marlon and Rhona have an emotional wedding day.

Marcus secret rumbled after cryptic phone call

Following the shocking finding of their daughter and sister Naomi, Charles and Ethan Anderson will witness more ramifications on the soap opera the following week.

As Naomi continued to obstruct him, Charles was unable to hold back his anger when he found that Ethan had spoken with her.

When Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) overhears Ethan’s boyfriend Marcus (Darcy Grey) on the phone the following week, things hit another roadblock.

He unintentionally discloses that Ethan is meeting up with his sister while deep in conversation.

Marcus is cut off by Manpreet, who questions him about what she just said.

Charles then joined the others after being heard. Will Charles and Ethan become estranged as a result of Ethan’s efforts to connect with Naomi?

Laurel finds Kit cheating with stepdaughter Gabby

Gabby (Rosie Bentham), Kit’s stepdaughter, has been wanting to find someone to share her life with after primarily focused on her son Thomas, and has thrown herself into the world of online dating. Laurel discovers Kit cheating with Gabby.

She strikes up a conversation with a mysterious man named Chris, and the two immediately plan a date. Gabby has no idea, however, that her date’s real identity is actually Kit and not Chris at all.

The morning after their meeting, Laurel appears at Home Farm and rushes Gabby out the door as an unaware Kit descends the stairs, leaving Gabby confused.

Kit maintains both of his relationships with Gabby and Laurel with ease in later moments, displaying little regret.

He continues to message Gabby, apologizing for being late, as Laurel and Kit eat their supper.

Then, when Laurel recommends that they spend the night together, he finds himself contemplating his options.

Kit is having his second dinner date of the day at Home Farm when Laurel shows up just as he and Gabby are about to kiss and go upstairs.

What will happen when she realizes Gabby is also the girlfriend of her new man?
