Emmerdale spoilers: Is Paddy Kirk SUSPICIOUS about Chas?

In Emmerdale, Paddy Kirk (played by Dominic Brunt) has been Chas’ (Lucy Pargeter’s) rock during the heartache of her mother Faith’s terminal cancer diagnosis (7:30pm – see our TV Guide for listings).

Paddy, the village vet, is unaware that Chas has been having an affair with Al Chapman, a local businessman, for months (Michael Wildman).

Aaron (Danny Miller), Chas’s son who is currently in town, has threatened to tell Paddy about the relationship.

But up to this point, Chas has succeeded in pressuring Aaron into keeping her a secret.

However, because of her deceit, Chas and Aaron are still at odds.

When Paddy learns that Aaron will once more be leaving the hamlet, he is sad.

Surely, following Faith’s passing, the family needs to remain intact?

Chas makes an effort to minimize Aaron’s decision to go.

To Paddy, however, something doesn’t feel right.

Is there more going on here than what first meets the eye?

Will Paddy learn anything?

Al is concerned when Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), his fiancée, suddenly wants to move up their wedding date.

Al makes an effort to slow Kerry down while reassuring Chas that their plan to leave the hamlet together is still a go.

As the village cleans up after the storm, Bob Hope’s hatred against bossy Bernice Blackstock grows.

Although Bob has some suggestions that might be helpful, boss lady Bernice seems to be enjoying running the show.
