Faith Dingle from Emmerdale will experience a decline in her health the following week as a result of her decision to throw a party.
Faith’s palliative care nurse makes the initial statement, leaving her feeling reflective, that the most crucial thing to concentrate on is dying with no regrets.
Faith (Sally Dexter) receives assurance from Pollard (Chris Chittell) that her to-do list is a good idea, and they both end up feeling emotional about what is in store for her.
Later, Chas (Lucy Pargeter), Faith’s daughter, is dismayed to witness yet another distressing indication of her mother’s failing health as she suffers while walking in the countryside with her mother. Faith, though, perks up when she spots a farmer nearby and signals for him to come to their aid.
When Faith tells Chas she wants a party before it’s too late, Chas is naturally shocked. She begs Chas to avoid the errors she has made in her own life.
For concern of how devastating Faith’s final party will be, Cain (Jeff Hordley) decides not to attend it. As a result, he feels confused about how to behave and terrible about his selfishness. But Moira decides to confirm his attendance on her own initiative.
There is a small awkwardness as the party starts at the Woolpack since Faith starts speaking as everyone enters.
As Faith starts to sing her karaoke song, things start to unwind, but it doesn’t last for very long.
The celebration is in full swing when Faith suddenly passes out in the bar and is taken to the hospital, leaving everyone in a panic. Chas eventually takes her fury out on Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), leaving Paddy helpless while they wait for updates on Faith.
They are upset to see Faith in such a state because she claims she can’t see properly. A nurse then shows up to take them to visit a confused Faith.
Is this the beginning of Faith’s demise? Will the circumstances cause Chas to relapse into Al Chapman’s arms?
