Emmerdale spoilers: Bernice makes a shocking confession as Nicola calls the police in exit twist

In the Emmerdale episode airing on Monday, November 13, Samantha Giles’ character Bernice Blackstock was made to face the music after taking out a loan in Nicola King’s (Nicola Wheeler) name.

After having lunch with Bernice and Gabby (Rosie Bentham) on Friday, Nicola came home to find two men taking stuff out of her house.

The bailiffs clarified that they were forced to take action since Nicola had neglected to repay her debt.

Nicola was frightened and extremely puzzled at the same time. Nicola was determined to find the person who took the money, even though she and Jimmy (Nick Miles) were fully aware of this.

As Nicola made her way to the B&B, she came upon a note from Bernice, confirming that she had applied for the money but chose to flee rather than face the reality.

The episode that aired today left Bernice’s friends and family in utter disarray.

While Gabby was wondering if her mother had abandoned her once more, Bob (Tony Audenshaw) and Wendy (Susan Cookson) were in the B&B trying to put their lives back together.

No one noticed Cathy (Gabrille Dowling) had slipped away as everyone was rushing about.

Cathy discovered Bernice sitting on the floor in her empty house, meditating.

In the end, Bernice was forced to stay in the Dales and make amends with the people she had harmed as she lacked the money to flee and start over somewhere else.

Nicola, Bob, Gabby, and Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) watched as Bernice said that she has been in debt ever since her return in 2021 and that despite her best efforts, she has never been able to fully get back on track.

Nicola was still furious even if it was an opportunity for others to feel sorry for Bernice.

Bernice has no choice but to denounce her to the authorities, Nicola said, pointing out that her family now has nothing.

Is Bernice going to ride in the back of a police car and leave the area, though?

I will miss getting my hair and makeup done every day, and I’m sorry to be leaving my coworkers! Talking about her departure, Samantha Giles exclaimed, “I am already missing that—just look at my hair!”

“The daily grind of working; it takes time to realize you need to establish a completely new routine for yourself. It’s fantastic in certain aspects, as it’s highly creative and liberating, but one does obviously miss not having a regular source of income too.”

“However, I believe it is unhealthy to become overly preoccupied with money matters. It goes without saying that everyone needs to make a living, but in order to be creative, one must feel free to explore new ideas and create unique paintings every day rather than stuck in a rut.”
