Emmerdale fans ‘rumble’ how Al and Chas affair will be exposed after Cain clue
Fans of the ITV soap opera Emmerdale think they have figured out how Chas Dingle and Al Chapman’s affair might play out.
On Thursday’s episode, the two had a secret rendezvous at Marlon and Rhona’s wedding celebration on the Dales.
As Chas continues to deal with the painful reality of her mother Faith’s sickness, she and Al have started dating.
The couple then hinted at their actual emotions for one another when she stole away from the wedding festivities to enjoy some alone time in the hamlet.
Fans of the soap opera Emmerdale now believe that Paddy Kirk, one of the show’s most adored characters, may soon suffer grief after Cain unexpectedly showed up and gave Al shifty eyes as he stood ostensibly by himself while carrying two champagne flutes.
Emmerdale viewers now believe Cain may hold the key to the affair coming out, with several posting on Twitter about how the seasoned soap actor might be involved in the plot.
You’d wonder why he’s holding two glasses of apple juice, er, wine, one person wrote.
Another wrote: “Hope Cain finds Kerry not in the house,” while another said: “Will Cain see Kerry & then discover Chas absent.”
How great would it have been, a third admirer thought, if he had seen something of Chas’ and forced the door open to return.
ITV has previously made a strong implication that Cain (Jeff Hordley) might be the first to learn about his sister’s affair.
An ITV spokeswoman teased, “How will her brazen brother Cain react should he realize she’s in bed with his arch nemesis?”
The news that her mother has terminal cancer has shaken Chas’s world, and she has turned to her family’s sworn adversary for comfort.
Emmerdale viewers are clear about who they sympathize with, with many calling for better circumstances for Chas’s husband Paddy despite the fact that the hidden affair seems to have brought out Al’s sensitive side.
The Thursday episode of Emmerdale had viewers feeling particularly bad for him as he spoke in the Woolpack about his love for Chas as she was secretly cuddling up to Al two doors away.
However, Paddy has not yet noticed his wife’s erratic behavior. Al and Chas will meet up for liaisons in public places, hotels, and other private places. Perhaps things are going to change?
