Emmerdale fans fuming as episode cancelled in last minute schedule change

The ITV executives’ decision to postpone tonight’s episode and shorten the one-hour special has infuriated Emmerdale viewers.

The opera has had erratic release dates since the passing of Queen Elizabeth II last week due to a number of broadcast modifications needed to make room for news coverage.

Fans of the show were promised a double dose to make up for the interruptions, but ITV executives changed the schedule at the last minute, cutting Emmerdale short and moving it from 8 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.

Fans of the show were promised a double dose to make up for the interruptions, but ITV executives changed the schedule at the last minute so that Emmerdale would be shortened and moved from 8 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. in order to continue their news coverage.

The alternate episode that was moved will now air on Sunday at 6.30pm, but the viewers are not at all pleased with the abrupt shift.

@orchidfoxy “I started my supper to have it with #Emmerdale but it’s been pushed back again and there’s just 1 episode, news has been on since 6pm,” the user tweeted.

Comment from @JamesDawson911: “#emmerdale This is pure f* bull, and I’m sick and F tired of it. There is no f*** way I’m watching any stations on Monday.

“Bad enough we had to wait for #Emmerdale now postponing for more of the same,” commented @karen flynn. “They’ve only gone and dropped tonight’s double helping of #Emmerdale,” complained @transtvhermit.
