Emmerdale fans emotional after show bosses give Marlon update

After the show’s producers issued a social media appeal, Emmerdale viewers openly admitted to feeling sad.
In a recent plot, Mark Charnock’s Marlon Dingle was recovering from a stroke. In moments that were broadcast in March, Marlon experienced stroke-like symptoms as he observed his face twitching in the mirror. Before being taken to the hospital, he passed out.
As soon as Marlon regained consciousness, it became clear that he had lost the ability to speak because he was having trouble pronouncing simple words.
Mark has received accolades from many ITV soap opera viewers for both his portrayal and raising awareness. The 53-year-old has been nominated for the Best Serial Drama Performance award at this year’s National Television Awards, according to Emmerdale executives.
Emmerdale’s official Twitter and Instagram accounts published the following: “Consider voting for @markcharnock in the 2019 NTAs. Do it now!”
Several followers soon commented to the posts, stating how moved they had been by the scenes. His acting has most definitely been superb, according to Lesley Campbell.
commented Dawn Robinson: “Excellent actor…it took me days to stop sobbing as he married Rhona down the aisle, while Kellie Obermuller said: “100% deserves this.
I have experienced a wide spectrum of emotions as I followed Marlon through his adventure. From crying to laughing uncontrollably. There have been tears in either case.”
