Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell), a beloved character in Emmerdale, has been struggling to cope on her alone while her dad Dan (Liam Fox) is in jail for murdering creepy pervert Lloyd (Matt Sutton).
After one punch caused Lloyd to suffer a head wound that ultimately caused him to die, the entire hamlet gasped when Dan was given an 8-year prison term. Dan, who is not often violent, had lost control while trying to protect his daughter and had struck out in a fit of rage.
Amelia is now living independently for the first time in her life due to his incarceration.
Even though she was putting on a brave face, she was finding that managing things like council tax and caring for baby Esther was a lot.
When Noah (Jack Downham) expressed his worries to Chas (Lucy Pargeter), she offered Amelia and Esther a place to live with her and Eve (Bella James), who had an idea.
Amelia initially declined this offer, stating that she had to continue residing at Dale Head in order to ensure that Dan’s house would be there for him when he was ultimately released from prison. She eventually accepted Chas’s offer, though, as the pressures of attempting to manage on her alone became too much.
She will be settling in to her new home in upcoming episodes. We’ll also notice a change in her character as she agrees to assist Chas behind the bar at the most renowned bar in the Dales in order to help pay her way.
Amelia will be a complete gift for Chas as a lodger if she transitions to pulling pints with the same ease that she brought to bear when she started working at the salon. Amelia (Lisa Riley), who is a diligent worker and shows a lot of initiative, impressed Mandy (Lisa Riley) with how quickly she adapted to working in the salon.
Additionally, she must be superior than Gail (Rachael Gill-Davis).
Her predecessors in the bar industry include Mandy Dingle, Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw), Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromely), Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb), and Natalie J. Robb. Will she eventually become a permanent presence there as well?
